Head Organist and Cantor at Sct. Nicolai Church, Køge, Denmark
She has given concerts throughout Denmark, the rest of Scandinavia, Germany, Great Britain, Estonia, The Faroe Islands and Iceland, the Summer Organ Festival at Hallgrimskjyrka in Reykjavik including live appearance at the Icelandic Broadcasting Radio, as well as appearances in DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation). She has also been Soloist with orchestras such as the Danish symphony orchestra ‘Danmarks Radio’s Underholdningsorkester’, The Symphony orchestra from the Swedish Academy of Music in Malmø and the Italian string quartet ’Quartetto di Venezia’.
During her studies at The Royal Danish Academy of Music with Professor Hans Fagius, Jørgen Ernst Hansen and Jesper Madsen, she won several prizes and acknowledgements for her performances. She completed the Organ studies with a Master’s degree and achieved the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma after further study with Professor Hans Fagius at the RDAM with a highly critically acclaimed Debut Concert in Copenhagen (Helligåndskirken).
Anne Kirstine Mathiesen is very active as a Chamber musician

The Organ duo ‘Dancing Pipes’ with Vibeke Astner, Mølholm church, Vejle.
One of the highlights for this duo was an Organ, dance and video performance at the Aarhus Symphonic Organ Festival in 2016
with the Academy of ballet in Aarhus in the newly build Concert hall.
The Piano and organ ‘Duo MM’ founded together with the Danish pianist, David Lau Magnussen,
which specialises in multi-keyboard combinations.
